my mates car nova 2l.alternater belt snapped at the docklands. battery died. i donated my new k swiss shoe laces to act as the new belt, it held for 15miles snapping 20 yards away from his drive

1 i can remeber
ford sierra of doom


coolent hose burst in tywn in wales. bit of duct tape and it held all the way back to the wirral
ontop of that it had no brakes so slowed with gears then handbrake
and the exhaust had fell aprrts so the back box wa sheld up with twine/string etc and was just there for looks

My exhaust was held on using twine for quite a while. Am liking some of the suggestions for stopping the backbox rattling on the rear beam - will be sorting this out tonight! My old Cinquecento had its rear bumper held on with gaffatape throughout the entire 3 months I had it.

Gaffa tape on my airflow meter to hold it on position, at TOTB in front of lots an lots of people. There was no way I was going to get to do it un noticed lol
