80k for an audi engine is not high. As long as its been well maintained then i see no problem getting one with 80k on the clocks

they start at under 6k now, very rarely see any over 8k now to be honest.
wait til next year, they'll drop in price because the 97's wont need to be sva'd, prices drop like crazy then and the country will be flooded with them.

I'd stretch a couple of k (save for an extra month or 2) and get an Audi S3. Could get a nice one with lots of extra's for about 10k. I'd love one

I'd take the Clio hands down....I dont miss my Astra one little bit which says it all!
Astra looks cool but in all fairness I found it to be quite bland.
if I had 8k I'd look at:
-Clio 182- Excelent drives car and a car which is holding into its value.
-Civic Type R- As much as they have a reputation they are excellent cars and cost very little to run.
-Mini Cooper S- Will be an older car but excellent residuals and wicked car to drive and excellent build quality.
-Golf Anni 150 pd-Not so much a drivers car but a nice cruiser which is economical and desirable which means great re-sale
Be good with your money and buy something thats renound for excellence and something that wont loose you money.
I Just find the usual Ibiza Cupra/ Audi S3 sugestions disapointing as they are very bland/old/over hyped cars imo.
