The service is working fine now, and for the record it never went down.. it just took longer to find a game, and came up with random error messages now and again, understandable during this busy period. Do I care? Not really. Yes I pay for the service and it's damn good, I think its funny how PS3 users are trying to slate this, when in reality its like comparing Sky Digital to Freeview.

It did go down in certain places.
I don't really care if it went down tbh, why is the first line of defence for live having problems the fact that psn has less users what does that have to do with anything.

Oh it seems the PSN network is not so great after all?
Xbox Live fucks up for once in a year, PSN has less users and still fucks up? doesnt do what its told to do?
Blows.

less users = easier to manage thats the point, its because live has so many users and got overloaded around a busy period

Its obvious its to do with how many people are online. Theres 87,000 online right now and live is fine and so is COD4.
You watch it all fuck up come 8pm tonight when theres an extra 100,000 people on.
[Edited on 31-12-2007 by Necromancer]
there was 260,000+ on last night
