Jesus, 700kg is quite a difference from the standard weight. IIRC the Haynes says my shape of corsa weights 1335kg, and that's the lightest model...

lighter than that .. my corsa, turbo engine/f28 all interior and sub in boot weighed 1040kg

good point about the haynes, im sure mine says about 1300 kg. which is almost double what some people are claiming to have reduced theirs too, ?

according to parkers, the 1.4i Breeze 5d Auto and 1.4 16V CDX 5d Auto are the heaviest at 1078KG and most of the 1.0 12v's are 857KG so are the lightest

A mates XE corsa with full interior and 17's was exactly a tonne when we last had it on the weigh bridge. Apart from the engine and wheels it is basically a 1.4 sport spec with a sunroof.

brosters if off the road, as is mine as I get more weight out of it. currently mine is 800kg and soon to be about 750 (if my sums are right) and then possibly a bit lighter once I build my cage to add strength so I can remove other bits.

currently at 200bhp as well so thats about 250 bhp per ton

yes, for a very short time. its having a fibregalss bonnet and bootlid fitted as well as perspex windows vey soon. Then possibly an 1800cc engine.
