Am i correct in thinking that instead of the gsi shafts and cavilier cv's you can get two sets of these

No. The CV's in your initial link are the ones that you use with 22 spline GSI/Diesel shafts.
The ones in your later link are used with 'big block' CV's as found on Astra/Cav/Calibra 2.0's etc.
If you have ABS you will need to makesure the teeth on the ABS rings are the same, in which case I think it is the Calibra outer CV's you would use!

dont have abs all should be well now id say, pics will come up whenever i have the money to buy the engine, and the other few bits n pieces cheers for the help guys
