have a look on the vxon forum, there is a dedicated section to tuning your turbo diesel.

also if you look over on some of the portugese forums they tune these engines alot and have achieved some very good figures.

also there is a guy on novaload with a 1.7td converted nova thats quite interesting

would love a Corsa B 1.7td with a front mounted intercooler 55mpg with bundles of torque
1.7 corsa b's are non turbo

I know but it is possible to fit the 1.7td isuzu lump into a corsa or as stated above a nova and when you wind the boost up on these you obviously get power more and more torque in a lighter shell such as a corsa it would pull very hard

although i dont know how well it would handle would XE/LET spring cope?

switching to vxon to look up this diesel section, would love to chat to that guy with the cav

the guy with the cav is a friend of mine called Richard Chew, his username is "Rich C" on VxON,

I recommend you read the full diesel tuning thread on VxON before asking any new questions as most are already answered in there, if you need to know anything about converting to a big block td then the guy with the converted nova is on VxON too.

The diesels weigh the same as the moon and all this bull shit about big blocks not handling, well the diesels are step worse lol.

Also 36psi cuold be on 1 inch boost pipes, as lets face it boost is a measure of restriction.

And also must be on a different turbo as I put a scrap td nova on the rollers an completely shut the wastegate and could only get 15psi at full bore regardless.
