Why buy a car that you are only going to drive up and down the front path and blast tunez out of the boot so the school children that walk past the house think "Cooooollll"
Sorry for the rant but things should be said. (not so much a personal attack at you but to many NW's that Just turn up to a local location)
Thing is, I can barely afford to run my car round my local areato uni and such without having to travel to a CS meet which is really out the way for me personally. Would You drive to my home town which is a good hour and a half from Liverpool?
Oh, What give you the impression that I have a Drive big enough to drive up and down trying to attract local school kids with my bangin choooonz and bling bling crap in the first place?
On a serious note, Try and think about the ones who can't travel as far and be reasonable about it

Which fields were you in?
Hump back bridges coming out of nowhere weren't so fun, especially with a tight bend right at the other side

Good pub that iirc
Only about 3 mins from my house too, maybe stretch it to 7 if I take the long way round tbh I'd prefer something a bit further away, I like to have a nice drive to meets, all part of the fun

Just drive to Scotland first then to the meet, a few of us did the other night in search of snow, didn't find any though...
The south side of things is fine with me I'm not one to moan and I love driving so that cule.

Which is why the meets move around, to cover the region. If you can't make some of the more northern ones, that is fine. Northern people will generally make the effort to come to Wales.
I liked Llandudno and I would like to go back. I would also don't think we've spent enough time in Conwy, Denbigh and Flint, but my local knowledge is not sufficient to suggest a suitable pub.
Llangollen would be nice, as would Bala. Both when the weather picks up and we'll have a nice day in the countryside.
Or you can duplicate the effort and do your own thing which, all other things being equal will result in less cars at both sets of meets, which is in no-ones interest. Up to you.

llandudno was a cracking day out! shame its rained so we couldnt do the bob sled
will have to do a full day again.
ian & lisa - it was suggested to do a go karting event again was just wondering if it could go ahead and maybe on the same day another trip to yorkshire
we could go to the same pub as last time and the local go karting there?
