Right Cheers guys.

I was wanting to know what my chances will be up against a Type R civic (old ish one) and a clio sport.

By then my Corsa should have 140bhp and weigh about 750kgs. But due to the increased final drive, i'll be hitting the raised revlimit at 120 or something like that. But i should be able to get to that figure very quickly.

Remember to consider the new rules with modified cars. All modifications need to be TUV approved.

As Rich said, the nurburgring is less about having a quick car and being a good driver / knowing the track...

Even a slow car would be passing loads of other cars if driven properly.

That CRX almost kept that. Just unlucky he appeared to still be steering in to things when he slowed enough to get some proper grip back.

There's an even funnier one with an E36 BMW who gets about 15 yards in and steps it out. Bad to laugh but to drive that far and crash on the first bend is something you would probably need to laugh about yourself.

Can I recommend one of these:

make your passenger worth having and not just extra weight. They can keep a look out behind you for any porsches comming up behind you at 170mph and warn you so you can keep out of the way.

Very handy as you will find yourself constantly looking in the wing mirrors and rear view mirrors as there is alot of fast traffic!
