Comparison with Barca yes, but i just think if Liverpool fans spent 5k to buy one share, they would want much more than just what is being offered, a vote
Its obviously a pointless comparison in terms of its size - but the general way its run is identical to what is being proposed (it helps that the guys helping to get this going have worked with/for the Co-Op)
And agreed about the latter point, I think they need to offer something more as 100,000 people wont just throw away £5k for the love of the club.

Yeah i agree, not a chance a million would
I can't even see you doing it tbh, your family seems to be quite well off, but they haven't got their by throwing 5k away

Not 1million, 100,000 fans giving £5k are needed.
We'd def do it if it went ahead, even if it was just for a vote, its an involvement in the club that we wouldnt want to miss out on.

If they allow more than one share and local businessmen decide to invest then you're laughing. Won't happen though as they obviously want equal shareholders.

Yeah, I see the benefits of both ways. One share means one vote and no one has more power than others. But multiple shares (with a max) would increase the chances of making the amount needed.
