Tom - they will be able to camp and what not yes, but they naturally won't be allowed on the stand. Nor will they be allowed on the strip throughout the weekend. iirc it's Vaux only.

Deano - Cheers mate. Not a problem, as long as i can run and show, they'll still be up for it. How many places on the stand usually, is it first come first serve to get on?

The more deposits that get paid, the more Willay applies for. So if 5 people show, we'll have a small pitch. If 500 people show, we'll have a massive pitch. Pretty much how it works within reason.

If your mates want to drive their own non-Griffin cars, they can, and get in for the camping iirc (I'm not 100% on this though). It will mean they are already in the Pod on the Sunday for the main event, and won't have to wait till 9am when it's open to the public

Camping in Santa Pod. Tents and stuff. Unless your names Ian and you have a camper van

I'll be at Lily's. About 3 minutes from the BP garage where we meet, and 30 mins from Santa Pod

FYI i am 90% certain i will be at home (Didcot, Oxon) on the 7th for a local car event. chances are i will be staying at the final RV point (Bedford services) overnight to avoid the early departure i had last year!
as such anyone wanting to convoy with me are quite welcome. if enough interest is shown for a Saturday evening (to Stay at Bedford) or a Sunday morning convoy i will write one up again as last year
(last years convoy)

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/925/en/hd/xqdbf?crUrl=/h/d/ex/925/en/mapsearchresults&rpb=hotel&_requestid=131203

Link to hotel where Fonz is looking to stay and we RV'd for the final time last year.

Excellent location only about 30 mins away from Santa Pod. BP garage with full facilities also here. Shell Garage on the way to the Pod if we go a certain way.

I saw a massive banner at the entrance of Santa Pod last year, saying that you can discounts at that "Express by Holiday Inn" and 2 others if saying you're going to an event at Santa Pod.

iirc, Willay mentioned last year about a hotel this time round.

the car event will take up my time all day and i'll be wanting to find a bed after what will be a long day in the sun (hopefully) - particulary after a drive to Santa Pod. As i will be busy all of Saturday racing my car, and travelling back home Friday night i'll have no time to actually prepare camping kit. it was my intention to camp, il just have to wait until next year now!

Gregg & Joel - spank the A6, BP garage as you hit Bedford. That will be where we will meet no doubt
