Got bored, so went down the garage & pulled her out, had a couple of easy runs up & down the back lane, just to make sure everything is still ok.

I lost a tooth somewhere, fuck its bumpy

And i think i still have some blood in my ear, its quite loud.

Oh well, all for a larf.

Started raining, and the big hole in the roof meant it was time to go back inside, oh well.

Looks low there, well, because it is, its a complete mare i have to drive up onto wood to get the trolley jack under.

Dont forget the arch trims & bumpers will make it look a bit lower too, but think the back will sit higher due to lack of interior.

Still waiting for paintshop, they are quite busy at the mo :rolleye:

Thinking about ditching the neat roof idea, as i dont think it will ever look right & too much of a chance of cracking. So either a plate over the hole, or some perspex, descisions descisions.

New front end look, smooth bumper, slatted grille...

Nothing bolted up, just slapped in place to get a feel, prefer it to the gsi front i think

Getting ready for MOT...

After MOT...

Suprisingly, it failed!

Some issues with some suspension components, going to have a look at it next weekend, tyre is touching the coilover on the drivers side, causing a lightweight tyre.

Thread about it here with more detail

Nearly there.
