again you dont know the issues involved, yes most times aircraft dont land in those conditions, but there are elements that may have been, for example, fuel limitations, weather over other airfields being worse, and wether the conditions are within the aircrafts limitations.
none of this we know, so your all making assumptions.

tbf if that was 155mph cross winds there is no way in hell planes should have been even attempting to land there
either it wasnt that windy, or the pilot and atc are even more stupid then we are making out

Hence why I said why on earth was it allowed to land
And IIRC, confirmed 155mph gust literally as they landed

i disagree, a very skilled pilot could have landed that
OR
would have pulled up sooner
stfu steve, thats the stupids thing ive ever herd
not really, theres hundreds of crabbing plane vids out there all landing perfectly fine, in fact this probably happens everyday somewhere in the world, however the pilot was unable to land or made the bad decision of trying to land when he didnt have the ability to do so
human error
He still did a very very god job of saving it and all of the passengers lives.
Prob wasnt even his crappy decision to land anyway he couldnt of known about the winds it was prob some office punk who thought it would be safe to land.

"Officials say the winds were sparked by a winter storm that caused problems across Central Europe all weekend."
So what would be the point going to a diffrent aiport when its affecting all off central europe? and maybe there wasnt enough fuel to get it to another airport??

Steve, before you start commenting, you might want to find some FACTS first
Like the fact that all the other planes were diverted to other airports.....
I had so many flaming comments, but i see that I don't even need to go there as everyone else is doing it

I hear they wanted to land fast to get an experience computer simulator tinternet peep behined the controls.
Someone who would be responsible for all the lives on board and not really care..
Something about Corsasport and a 106 was mentioned....

Well i'm sure whatever you are basing your opinions on is more factually sound that whatever the pilot made his decisions on I mean you have seen a poor quality video AND heard some reports about wind speed
