If hes minted enough as an apprentice joiner , at the age of 17 to have a mercedes van then why is he looking for a corsa ?

ok back on topic.
To be honest, I think the main reason you need to explain to your bro to not get a 2.0 16v, is just for his risk... We all drive round like mad men racing everything when we're 17 and we all have Close calls!
except most of us when we're 17 drive 1.2 16v corsa's and the like... so those close calls are usually fairly minor. I think he needs to just have a year in something fairly slow, 1.4 16v max! before he tries the 2.0 16v. He may be the best driver in the world, but it doesn't stop a tractor pulling out on you around a blind bend...
