get yourself on google and sort out some custom firmware on it.its a bit long winded but well worth it as you can get games for free and also play them straight from a mem stick!!

you need to downgrade the firmware thats already on it though to 1.50 which is the only problem unless you have gta vice city and its gotta be the one with the 1.50 update on the disc.if you decide to do it ive got the disc and will post it to you providing you post it back!!

have a good read of psp hacks as above, you dont need to downgrade from 1.5 - you can jump straight from whatever version you are on now to custom firmware, with this you download games from various sites and can play them from the mem stick.........

didnt know you could jump to cfw now,thats a bonus!!!
Basically you never need to buy a game again!you get them for free!!!( obviously i only get games i have to back them up as its illegal!)

ive had mine 4 a bout a year and i like it still
mines been downgraded so i can download the games i have bought bigger memory cards to keep games on i have got 2 2gb and just bought a 4 gb

yeah and the cable needs a normal USB connector at one end and a mini USB at the other.usually supplied with cameras and sat nav.
