No its 10000000% different.

I played Union for years to a decent level, and had mates who played both forms. And basically League was for guys who had a bit of power but little skill, and Union was for people who had a brain (aka skill) aswell as some power.

Hence why Union is watched by the general sports fan, and League is watched by northeners.

my brother plays union, watched him a few times. but as in professional rugby I have only been to league games.

The funny thing is, i went into Tesco before the game and bought one, we was having a joke about it.

Although they definately aren't sold in the stadium, not even hospitality when i went in anyway
