A blow over is when the whole car is painted when maybe only a few separate panels could of been painted IMO.

When my corsa was painted I had the bonnet replaced, rust on the boot fixed and semi-flushed and the drivers door repaired. I could have got just these panels painted but there would have been a good chance of it not matching so I had the whole car "blown over".

It still involves work as the panels will need prepping before paint

I can't distinguish the difference between a full paint and a blow over if the car is going the same colour?

theres no such thing as a blow over

FACT

painting over paint is a respray

FACT

bare metal respray is a total different kettle of fish ie your going into say 5k to do that

all paintwork is painting over old paint which has been preped and repaired and blemishes removed

this cheap blow over folks talk about is basically a cheap/shit respray
