Seriously get a fucking life.
I know Xboxes are unreliable steaming piles of dogshit - however at the time it was by far the superior console, so I bought one.
If I was to go out now and buy a new console I'd get a ps3 no question, their game lineup has come a longway since I bought my xbox and the cost has come down to something which I'd be willing to pay.
Why does everyone care so much what consoles other people have got - stop being a whinging set of nerdy badgers and answer my fucking question, If you don't know or have nothing to say about that, then kindly fuck off.

You should know when you create a thread like this that it will be bombarded with anti-360/PS3 posts.
To answer your question; if it is a constant issue with your screen freezing up one minute into playing every time then they will undoubtedly spot this and grant the free repair. It sounds pretty clear that there's a serious problem with the console so I see no reason why they would refuse to repair it.
BTW, I'll add, I've heard only good things about the repair service with Microsoft. It can take a week or two but everyone I know who's used it is happy with it.
Good customer service considering the massive scale on which these problems are happening.

ps3 has some amazing games, cod4, rsv2, gta4 soon. its a massively specced console for next generation, hence why not a lot of games, but the games available now are enough in the meantime.
plus ps3's dont break.
