Hes hardly a dunce for not grassing on someone.

What if that person finds out you grassed them up,hes hardly gonna come shake your hand is he? and with blades everywhere is it worth the risk?

If its not harming you leave him to it,he'll get caught sooner or later.why get involved?

£1000 fine for persistant offenders. The law is that the fine is "up to £1000" but the normal fine is £80.

Honestly?

If you cant afford to tax a car then dont drive one.

If you have a diffrence of opinon they dont like it and resort to schoolyard tactics such as name calling, just watch they dont steal your lunch money

Even if you're 5 days late you're breaking the law, there's no 'grace' period, although you won't get a fine for a month.

Well i reported it, dont give a shit if im labeled as a "grass" but im not going to wait around until he crashes into someone or even my car since i use the same car park.

My point of view is why should i pay to be legal and he gets away with a £80 fine for not doing his?

what will you do if you cant report everyone who isnt tax/insured on the road?
you will eventually give up and stop reporting

FFS

He's not going to walk around with a clipboard noting down cars without tax, is he? He's seen one and has now done the right thing and reported it, the end.

You fail to see my point, hes using the same car park as me day in day out parking sometimes next to mine. I wouldn't go walking around reporting everyone i see...
