The thing is, it doesnt make the insurance any cheaper, and also stops the passenger seat go fully forward. This can be a pain when transporting large things.

Its easily hacked, as you can pop the gear leaver out and stick a piece of wood in and drive away in every gear apart from 1st and reverse.

Think i'll take it out....lol

Might aswell take it out, your car cant be stolen anyway, not without the key. All Corsa's after a P reg cant be. Thats why the Hazard switch thing didnt work for you, if it had been an M plate or N plate, it would have worked.

Small update,

Got a new steering wheel:

Old

New

Got abit further removing the lock thinga majigga:

And then ran into trouble, as it was bolted in with secure nuts and bolts, so gonna have to get the angle grinder out this weekend.

Finally stripped a wheel of paint, needs a smear of filler on the deep scrathes around the center, then its primer time.....and i need to decide on a colour, white or silver....

All the people that know fuck all about cars say silver, and the rest say white, i prefer white.......but im not sure about it.

Finally managed to sand out all the deep scrathes on my alloy wheel. Probably spent a good 20 hours on her now

Tiny bit more sanding around the bead, so shes perfect, then time for eching primer. I've decided to do her in the original silver and im going to do it myself. Hopfully i will be able to stand back and say "job well done"

The idea is to do all the wheels and replace tyres with the closet thing i can get to what tyres were on from factory. Any body know? Guessing they were Pirelli, Or do people think thats a retarded idea?

Finally got the crappy multi-lock thing out. Bit of work with the angle grinder and she was away I've got to find a new plastic bit now as mine is left with a hole/slot in now

Im happy with my car now, just in the prosess of selling my sub and amp. I decided i'd rather have the cash than the bass.

Planning on doing oil and filter this weekend. As I've not changed the filter since I've had the car. Whoops but iv changed the oil lol

Few small updates:

Got a new plastic thing from scrap yard:

Then stuck ma vibe tweeters here with super glue

Then got rid of my old sub and amp and got this mini one. Its a vibe SQ8 with amp built in. Its good for its size.

Shot of boot:

Feeding the new smaller wiring kit through. There was like werid white blue tak sort of stuff around the wires through the bulk head which i made a mess with. Never mind:

Tried to re-gas my aircon as its not worked since I've had the car. When I finally worked out how to use the facking machine, there was a hole size of China, so had to stip it down to find it

Stripped it down and the hole was in the rad. I fixed it with some stuff called liquid steel. Pumped it in the hole and crushed the metal with pliers so it was good seal. Filled the system with compressed air to test if it held pressure, which it did for 2 days. So I went to re-gas it again and the machine didn't pick up any leaks in the system and it pressurised. When it was re-gased and lubed up it worked like a treat for two days then stopped. so there must be a tiny tiny leak in the system. The machine I was using had run out of die so got the lovley task of finding the leak another time when i can be arsed.

Finally got the De-cat Fitted it on the drive like a pro. Starting to love playing with exhausts now and actually doing a half decent job of it. Getting rust in my eyes is also bonus

And a pic of my back box fitted like a pro by myself also

4-2-1 Manifold is next job for my exhaust

Started to polish up the SAI bracket like I've seen a few people do. I started and gave up on it:

Dont think i'll bother putting it back on the car now.

Ok got the paint for my alloys was £30 which aint to bad

Spent absolutley days preping alloy number 1.

I got my dad to spray the first wheel as he had more eperience at spraying. On goes primer:

On went the paint, was so happy didnt get any runs untill time for laquer and got a fack load of runs I think it was my fault for mixing it with thiners lol. so got pissed of and not looked at it since, hoping to flat the runs off this weekend and having another crack at it.

Im not sure. The compressor is probably the smallest you can get. The spray gun is pratically an antique somthing my dad bought when he was a lad. It does the job tho

Thanks.

I'm happy with it. Not going to do any further exterior modifications now. Just wack a massive sub in 2x12"s for the commedy factor and then do the red top conversion, as that is my life goal.

Yeah me to lol. They are just abit.....boring

I'm gonna keep the 3 spokes. Finish refurbing them, and keep them as a secondry set, as i only just got brand new tyres for them lol

I'll probs get pissed off with white wheels, to hard to keep clean. Drive for like 3 seconds and they are instantly shited up
