Sorry Linch missed this, i honestly have no idea, and felt embaresed to ask, he did it all himself though iirc

Hate Ford's and hate the old one's cos they look so square and boring but iv took a shrine to this car simply because of the close knitted story that ties with it.
Its history is pretty special too, Very special car and sentimental to a good few people lol.

I am of GEEK though.
For example, to show my random Ford knowledge, I got called a gimp earlier for knowing that a Focus ST225 has a piston (well, rod) every 72 degrees on the crank
What was the other mk1 in the garage?

just a mk1 facelift with a broadspeed replica front panel, and a 350bhp yb in, used to have a twin turbo essex v6

Wicked Story, what would it be worth now James?
no idea, as only 6 exsist, and rarely up for sale
Horrible money no doubt considering the sort of money that Tickfords, RS2600s, RS3100s and 280Ss go for these days.
James, that car is fucking lovely, not to put too fine a point on it.
Is the gentleman that looks like an older version of you with less hair, your Daddy by any chance?
I've always wanted a Broadspeed MKI or Anglia, but I think that's the first road going turbo Capri of theirs that i've ever seen.
Your Dad's mate must have been a nut job to have sold it.
Very interesting fueling arrangement. I'd love to see it in the flesh.
Any chance of getting him along to any RSOC meets at Brands this summer? In spite of not being an official RS model, can you imagine the crowd it would draw?

Write-off categories are a VERY recent invention John. The Capri would have either been repaired or written off, as with any other vehicle of it's time and right up until a few years ago. It was quite black and white. There are far more grey areas now as far as accident damage is concerned.
