Looks like i drilled them too close to the engine looking at that pic...! But it can't of been sucking in hot air as I had only just started the car and it did it... Its like it's starving of fuel, but only if you put your foot straight to the floor... If you build up[ revs gradual, its fine...? I think I will buy another air box and drill it the same as that one in the pic...
btw mine is also a 1.0 12v...?

so with a backbox, k&n panel filter and drilled air box, my little 1.0 12v will be ok?
just that ive heard that the 1.0s need quite abit of back pressure to run right, and mods like this messes it up...

back pressure is only in the exhaust mate.
and you only loose it if you remove the centre silencer/cat
