Turbo timers are a waste of time imo, as colin said, just go easy for the last few mins of the jurney, its got little to do with cooling the turbo down, its the lubrication that is affected by instant shutoffs.
i had one but i got pissed off with the people behind me at the petrol station giving me abuse

Waste of time. Just drive off boost for last 5 mins/few miles and job done.

used to turn my car off see if i could get home before timer counted down, off boost of course lol
