I too got the flyer through the post...it is very tempting...
£10 would be worth it for the football matches alone!

Ideal for watching the odd footie match but not worth the extra cash tbh.
You have to have a decent package to get the HD feature for free too
shows how much you know
the reason for the cheap price is they are getting rid of all sky+ boxes.. lower the price of HD make it more worth buying the HD (as most ppl think of the pacakge price and long term)
hence the reason SkyHD is now Sky+HD exactly the same but people didnt realise that HD box had a bigger HD and can do the same.
they just thought it was the same as a standard box that displays HD and couldnt record.

thought i might clear the air on a couple of points..
1. HD subs is £10pm regardless of pacakge
2. Sky+ used to waiver the £10 if you had the full pacakge now its free
3. you can use sky+ on normal tv without having sky but costs £10pm
3a. Cheapest you can get the subs for is £5 with an offer.
4. you can buy a HD box and not pay for the HD subs. but they charge you 1.5 years worth of hd subs on top of the box price.
5. sky+hd isnt worth £10 unless you watch footy/films or discovery..
6. i pay £42.5pm for skyworld (full package) 2 hd boxes and 1 sky+
