hhmmmffff id rather have a comfy bed then space...

Do you need a wardrobe? or could you just have a wider chest of drawers so you can put things on top of it so the walls etc dont look as cluttered

Depends if you need the space or not, if you don't you might as well get a double bed.

I've had one for years and i hate sleeping in a single now.

I gave you a proper one and even drew a pic, thats as serious as I get!!

IMO the way you have it means watching TV when in/sat in bed will be an arse, if you change it to how I said you can watch it properly and can also have room for something under the TV (if its on the wall) and also a bedside table by where you come in the room.

Whats the actual dimension between the wall and the bed?

600mm you could get away with. 500mm is going to be too tight

I may do it now but only with my single bed. New wardrobe hasn't been built yet and i obviously haven't got a double bed yet

Good idea to try it with your double bed. Got to remember that by the time you add your duvet etc you'll not quite have 600mm clear.

Give it a go and see

Double bed is going to be a squeeze

Get that TV on the wall and you'll have loads of room for some drawers or something under it!
