If we're brandishing credentials, I'd walk to the ends of the earth to watch Celtic

Can't be that difficult to get tickets to a Colchester United match?

Yes, we've had 3 grounds in the time I've been alive and been to all 3 atleast over 100 times, Parque Sao Jorge, Pacaembu and Morumbi Stadium.

Yes, been to both the home grounds they have been in since I was born, including the last game in their old ground and first game in their new ground.

Been to quite a few away games to.

Pretty hard to see us if you live far away and away games are hard to get tickets for since they go so quick and ST holders snap them up straight away.

Yeah, been about 10 times (it's 280 miles away) although I have been to over 100 away games I'd say.

I'm a Pompey season ticket holder and go to as many away games as possible, obviously cant claim to a european away day but give me this season to try I think its alot harder to go around accusing people of being poor fans nowadays when football clubs are pricing fans out of coming to a game. Im lucky at the moment, Im 21 and still live with the rents so i can afford my season ticket... however im not looking forward to the day when A house and kids etc become a priority. It happens to alot of people but doesnt make them a shit fan... IMO.

Well said.

I went 13 times during the 2006/07 season and only twice last season. Due to financial change and my mate having bought a house he can't really afford £40-£50 all the time either.

I agree with the point of overpricing, you could be the most devoted fan in the world but if you haven't got the money, or have other things to spend it on, then it's a none starter, I think half the clubs take advantage of the hardcore fans devotion and knowing they'll pay for it makes it easy to charge what they do.

I would pay the equivilant of £8.50 to watch Corinthians at home, yet to watch the local team in the UK (Rotherham Utd) it would be over £25.

Yeah I am. Will hopefully try and get to a game this season as haven't been since we lost to Barca in the champions league.
Tried to get tickets to Pompey away a couple of times as thats the nearest ground to me but like you say they're gone straight away
