I wouldnt say I am as bad as that as I probably only normally check things are locked twice. Thats it.

Its more the once I have a doubt in my mind I did something...I need to check...

Here are more things I have:

- The order I get ready in of a morning: Open curtains, switch TV on, Iron shirt, Shave, shower, hair stuff, get dressed, brush teeth, breakfast then leave flat…If I break this order it takes me twice as long.
- TV volume has to be an even number
- SKY has to be left on BB1 when I go to bed (TV is switched off etc)...
- The orange cordial jug in the fridge always has to be topped up even if it’s full and I only take a glass out of it....

Would it not make more sense to brush your teeth after breakfast?

Yes it would but...I used to brush my teeth after breakfast…but I used to take too much time eating my breakfast first which then meant I had to cut short brushing my teeth as I had to leave. So now I have swapped them round so that I get a full brush session always and if I am late I don’t get a full breakfast…it’s the lesser of two evils. Haha

I have a method to my madness....

I think I have slight OCD when it comes to locking the shop up where I work. I think the responabitly gets to me.

I check the shutter is down loads of times, the door is locked loads of times (even though the shutter covers the front door). I check the oven is off loads of time, I check all the switches are on, when I know they're then I make sure all the lights are off, once off, I walk to the front off the shop to check the door is locked

Then, I actually walk around the shop with the light on my phone on, checking everything is as it should be. THEN, I lock up
