how much Jambo? I bought mine for 15.5K and could probably sell it now for 14ish, so not too bad. Different story in winter though

well then you have to decide whats more important, the car or the money.

Personally, i sold my astra as it cost alot of money but i was bored with it.

No point in investing that much money in something you dont totally love

well thats the thing, i do like the 350z, i love the noise and it makes you feel like a pimp

but, i also miss my ek9, i'd say the ek9 is more fun, it'd be alot cheaper, and if i had a minter it'd still be appreciated, kinda.

Drive another EK9 before you make your decision as you've probably got acustomed to a more accomplished car.

That will help you wiht the decision.

i hate bmw's i'd have a 5 series sport but i'm not old enough yet lol.

basically, i keep the 350z, have lots of debt, but a nice car.

sell the 350z, have no debt, a fun cheaper car, and money to burn.

You'll only spend the extra cash making the EK9 mint and the way you wanted false economy

well...

my ek9 was possibly stroked to the dc2's 1.8 (wont go into it), so it made around 20bhp more than a usual ek9.

i was down in yorkshire (ooh arr), with a mate, and i test drove an ek9 and it felt slow, then drove a dc2 and it felt like my ek9, so there is that issue

if i buy a tidy one they dont really need much doing, they're usually pretty clean. all i'd want to do is a filter and decent tyres, they dont need anything else. learned that with the last one.

my experiences of ek9's = 15.2-15.5 1/4 mile.

but if i remember correctly your's did 14.6-14.8?

I'd definately test drive some before jumping to decisions.

There's also the fact that you may 'remember' a car being great, but memories can sometimes get exagerated in your mind.

What would you burn the extra cash on though? Do you have any direction with this money saving idea or is it just going to get spunked accross the casino?

I personally would think long and hard about going back to a fun car, as you have to want fun all the time. My Corsa makes me laugh like a clown every single time I sit in it but I would rather walk there barefoot than commute every day in it.

You loved the civic first time round but second time round it might not live up to expectations or you might not just feel the love again as its not your original first love

But....vtec kicked in yo

Think long and hard on this one.
Decide in haste, repent at leisure and all that.

i'm currently undergoing property type dealings and it'd be good to have the extra cash if needed.

casino is an option.
