So you have NEVER done over 70mph? If you have, your a hypocrypt.

The only reason its stupid is the fact he was caught.

I see this speed every day on my bike.

A biker, speeding? Surely not I'd like to state that that was a light hearted joke before anyone tries to light me with a match,.

Anything over 100mph used to be at least a 6mth ban.Oh how times have changed.

My mate got caught doing 109 in his 1st 2 years of driving and got 1yr ban.

IMO u were VERY VERY lucky.

No, that was just teh scare rumours, there is no set sentance for speeding over 100mph.

Yeah, cos it was in his first 2 years of driving probably, and he was probably doing more than just speeding (dangerous driving, DWDCAA etc).

116mph average, 131mph peak, 6 points and fine.

This was over 5 years ago.....

I've seen people go faster/slower, get similar fines of an older age. I know of at least 4 people all of which ahve done over a tonne, and had no bannings at all.

This guys just unlucky, or didn't present his defence too well, or had a really REALLY nasty judge.

No,as a general rule of thumb, anything more than 30mph over the limit starts with a disqualification instead of points.Depending on the circumstances.

You really are a tool

Where does he say he has never done over the speed limit, so how in any way does his comment make him a hypocrite?

You do over 100, you're risking the consequences, and this guy has been lucky because the ban could have been much worse, depends on the court

He also has been unlucky, because the fine could have been more leniant

Just shows a lack of consistency at the courts

And you drive a plastic car made by people who enjoy eating snails and sniffing hairy armpits. Your point is what exactly?

Its hypocritical that the poster would write this, yet be happy to break the law themselves.

So what i've written is correct.

Verbal abuse calling me a tool. Boo hoo, i will now go cry.
