Not exactly true, to ride like that he'd of undertaken years of training and had to pass various tests.

So that means its ok for him to have over a dozen near misses... not including the parts of the video we didn't get to see...?
The cop is driving recklessly and endangering the public.
He was lucky he didn't get himself killed as was the guy he was following.

There is a clue in the calmness of the commentary from the Police rider. At no point does he sound worried or flustered meaning he's comfortable with the follow. They go on weeks of advanced training and normally have years of experience on the RPU before that. As for people saying he should have been pulled sooner, Why? He's riding like a complete moron and that 10 minute follow is damning evidence of that. If he'd have pulled him earlier on he's have gone to Court and said "Sorry your worships it was a single moment of madness it'll never happen again." The result of which would more than likely be that he'd keep his licence and be allowed to continue riding on the road like an idiot endangering more members of the public.

They are saying after 3 mintues he proved what he were like, that is more than enough to get him banned....especially the speed he were doing.
Sometime if they are as dangerous as they make out in the court, they should of been pulled there and then to stop them hurting someone or himself. Thats the arguement.
Im sure the biker was pretty comfortable at ridding like that....and i can asuure you, you dont need police training to do that...anyone who has riddin for a few months is capple with a quick bike!
Lets face it, deep down the copper loved it...not often he will get to ride like that and no body think nothing of it!

As soon as your clocked doin 30mph over any speed limit its 99% of the time an instant ban
The biker was caught doin 80 in a 30 and 140 in a 70
Thats more than enough evidence to convict him, the police biker was closer to having an accident than the other biker was due to him trying to keep up.
As for people saying that the poilceman would have went through weeks of intense training etc to chase people is totally irrelevant, what if that on coming biker didnt notice him or the other oncoming cars, the copper would have caused a huge accident by not stopping him much sooner and in a safe manner

No you cannot ride a bike at those speeds safely without proper training end of. The training is there to ensure that you react properly to situations. I'm sure the Police biker enjoyed it but none the less when you read the article it was a planned intelligence led operation against a persistant offender. Why should the Police pull these people early before they really hang themsleves out to dry? This bloke was probably riding like that day in day out and the long follow demonstrates the reality of his persistant law breaking as opposed to a short snippet.

Few people have said it's an R6. I laughed when the Police biker couldn't go over 130 though.
Biker was in the wrong, no doubting that, 10 minutes of video to prove it!
But jesus, that bike copper was far more dangerous I thought.

The angle/lens/position on the camera didn't help.

a lot of the police bikers comments really were rediculous "nearly had a head on with another biker" which was actually him and the "incompendent in the wet haha" also seemed to go pretty fast in the wet to me

So the cops driving would less reckless & it wouldn't look like he's endangering the public if viewed from a different angle?
Err ok.

Possibly restricted, but not in the sense that it can't physically go faster. I know that with the bikes that we have, there is a maximum speed that the bikes are allowed to travel at, which isn't necessarily the top speed of the bike. However, given its a Fireblade, i'd guess that the allowed speed is much higher, due to less kit on it.
It could also just be because the copper has a better idea of the speed that he can safely travel at, rather than the bellend he's following, or you.
