So, you still called them minnows (factually correct perhaps) but they comprehensively outplayed you over more than 180 minutes, so they can't be that bad can they

But they didnt win - so out played or not the end result was not them entering the CL.
I dont get your point, a win is a win. I know Arsenal fans dont see things that way - but then again you lot have to make some excuses up for not winning anything for years given the 'beautiful game' you play.

Yes it does, if they were better they'd of scored and won the game - christ they had 180mins to do so.
Having the ball the most and passing it around does not = better.
Scoring more goals than the other team does = better.

Why can't you admit that they were by far the better team 
We were the better team against Barca in the CL Final but we still lost... doesn't affect how we played though!

I didnt say they didnt play better - I said they werent the best team as they didnt win.
Football IS NOT about passing it about and looking great, its about putting the ball int he back of the net omre than the other team. The best team is the one that does that.
I know being an Arsenal fan this is hard to grasp as Wenger has managed to convince you otherwise - but its fact.

I knwo what you mean but my initial point was you were sayign they were crap when they actuially outplayed yous (without scoring, admittedly) over both legs and most of extra time as well

They maybe had more of the ball and passed it around more, but they didnt score more so therefore arent the better team. So my point still stands.

Football is about beating the team you are playing that day, it doesn't need to be pretty every time. Succesful clubs don't 'always' play the prettiest football every game.

Playing the best football includes being able to win, if you can't convert every single one of your chances while other teams convert fewer you aren't better imo

Sometime that the reason you don't win, you're too busy trying to look good on the pitch with effortless flair that it costs you the game.
I hate Chelsea and think they're boring to watch, they generally get results though.
Least United and dare I say it Liverpool are entertaining to watch and still get results.
