looks much better!
and lowering springs are fine, and nothing wrong with 40mm or less lowering.
i'm lowering the focus 35mm on eibachs, if i waned to lower it any more i'd be looking at over 1k for bilstein suspension...

But your on brand new shocks. So yours will be fine. I wouldnt lower an old car with just springs as you never really know the condition of the shocks. If money was an issue I would honestly just get G-Max shocks and springs. Atleast that way both suspension components are new and I would imagine the ride quality being a little better than just springs.

exactly the same way i see it, and also standard shocks are not going to cope with -60mm. money is a issue so im going for a set of gmax springs and shocks that have seen hardly any mileage for 70 quid

thats my plan, but iv got to buy a lowering kit and tracking adjustment first, so its a good 3 weeks before i can even contemplating affording it
