rather than keeping the b16 head, why not change cams to type R ones and a aftermarket inlet on the b18 head? would it not flow better?

the b16 head flows better than the b18 even with different inlets, plus the engines coming apart for piston rings anyhow. plus ill be adding b18 cams/inlet/tb to the b16 head
shafts oot(ITR import written on them), how the car stands (off to collect an engine crane tonight )

if i can remember correctly endyne or some other big company was asked what head they prefered better/made more power then it was fully machined (i.e b18c4 or b16 head, both P&P, valve job, etc etc) and they said both were pretty much identical but i believe they stated that they would still take b16 as it made a tad more power. then again if engines coming apart you might aswell build it makes no difference
We all know once you start playing, things change.
edit: yes the b16 head does flow a tad more than the b18c4 but nothing too much.(fully worked)
