Today i purchased a Autobahn Manifold, i got it as a temporary performance part as im not sure if i want to go with a standard hybrid turbo or go for something bigger, thus needing to replace it anyway

also i am about to purchase
4 x manifold>turbo studs (Part number 90116-10148)
4 x manifold>turbo bolts (Part number 90179-10167)
6 x manifold>head bolts (Part number 90179-10096)

HKS Gasket
(to match the Apexi System as the gasket is diffrent to the standard system)

Saturday i got up nice and early weather looked ok ish, got dressed got some tools and looked outside. it was pouring down. spoke to Dave and we checked the forcast and it was suppose to get better. so we decided to go ahead as planned, and i travelled to his house.

Luckily it was ok for the rest of the day

Here she is in the morning outside of mine, sitting all nice.

Right so started to remove the front bumper and then got removing the A/C and the TMIC

So got to removing the A/C radiator , a/c pump, pulley & the turbo , manifold actuator etc

all stripped, we removed the radiator aswell as its far easyer to work on the turbo this way

took off the trd splitter for easy cooler fitting

old turbo setup all together

whilst it was apart we turned the acutator down, so to avoid the increased chance of fuel cut, im know running a comfertable 0.80 - 0.85

new agaist old manifold

new cooler agast old (new one is 580 x 200 x 100mm)

lined up the manifold

so then went into Daves house for a tea and some heat wrap.

so we attacked the downpipe and the manifold.

then started to bolt together the new unit and put it on the car

Then put the new belt on and stuff. and then lined up the FMIC

then came the very anoying cutting of the bumper, got angle grinder happy. and messed it up a bit, needs to come off and be sorted out and also the splitter is still not on. no progress of this as i was very angry lol, only the day after pics i have

Big thanks to Dave for helping me out all day and the others that showed there faces. Its made a hell of a diffrence, just waiting till march when it goes back on the rollers.
