I would be laughing at the mug who just paid 25k for a Mk6 R32 with the same chassis.

As standard R26 is the best, might not have the legs in a straight line against the R32 or VXR though but for an absolute polished all rounder out of the box the R26 will not be beaten, simply because of the LSD.

i find them more of a gimmick

IMO the gti is a better car in everywhere, vw have made the mk5 r32 sound cheap compared to the mk4, its spec from memory is'nt any better (cant remember if recaro's were standard)

i don't think the drive any better than a gti or even a sport, and honestly find them a bit boring

Horses for courses most of the motoring press seemed to like it Evo warmed up to theirs irrc (not that they always get it right)

Also my neighbour has one and although I haven't driven it its bloody quick sounds nice and his words were one of the nicer cars he's owned despite it soon to be £440 to tax a year

He had an RS4 before this too as a comparable and he also has the m4 R32 too.

Warranty? Brand new? I'd rather spend 16k on a brand new car than a 70k miler E46 even if the E46 is an amazing car.
