you better not beat me getting this working! i wanted to be the 1st one with a 1.8 on tb's!!!!
using bowyer manifold. Lol don't worry mine won't be ready for a while as getting some custom pistons made. Gunna use some 1.6 steel rods. Then when i've used it for a while gunna stick a rotrex on it
same as mine then, but using tapers bodies
have you found a place that does standard size forge pistons? something i will have to do at later date, steel rods and pistons then even more nos!
was going to charge mine too!!!! great minds think alike!

nah just bought a red 2litre 8v corsa. Gotta get it stripped ready to stick my 1.8 in it. Too mock it up ready to go to exhaust builder so can keep my 1.8 sump. Then engine build after. But gotta wait till friday to hear about if i've got a unit in local place. So all waiting game

things are moving slowly
picked up this 2litre 8v corsa
started stripping it out
engine ready to be lifted out when i aqquire the engine crane
quality way of blocking the fuel lines off lol!
once it's out gunna mock up the 1.8 in there on the F16 box and get it out to an exhaust makers to get a manifold made to fit round the 1.8 sump.
and just shut the garage on it like this today
soo nice finally having some where to work on it all

well lee303 on mig web is running a esentailly f20 on his?
also if an f13 will bolt up to a big block 2litre 8v why would a big block box not bolt up to a small block engine?

I was always under the impression the input shaft size was wrong.. But I suppose its not an issue if you can find a compatible flywheel and clutch?

yeahh the input shaft is wrong, when you buy a clutch from the likes of helix or some one they can basically put what ever centre you need to suit you box.
but i'm gunna run billet fly, which will be drilled for xe clutch. cause a decent standard one will take 200bhp all day in a corsa

finally some progress,
got a manifold, given up on the 1800 going do my 1600, just got hassle after hassle trying to find parts for the 1800.
also means i'll be in a better class if i decide to sprint it also all the parts are off the shelf
my 30degree inlet, just gotta get it skimmed then it can go on and mega squirt is on it's way
