Joe was lucky not to get dropped in the last 2 rounds. Roy had to knock him out and joe kept taunting him. Only reason roy didn't land a killer punch was coz he could no longer see through the cut eye. I'm happy with the result tho as i've become a big fan of joe in recent years. I found it a major struggle to stay awake for it too.

Awesome result, so glad Calzaghe won it, would have prefered a KO to end on a real high but was a dominating points win.

just woke up, the undercard last night was one of the worst to date. the main fight was alright. Jones looked tierd, too tierd to really compete. first 6 rounds were good. best not be a rematch.
Joe should fight chad dawson for his final fight in Wales.

Calzaghe imposed his will on him for me rather than Jones looking tired. I had thought Jones Jr was mid 40's the way people were saying Calzaghe waited til he was over the hill to fight him. There's 3 years between them, nothing in real terms.

There's an argument both fighters were pound for pound the best.

Would you say Calzaghe was at his peak just now?

Because he was never given the fights in America with the best Americans until this year when he's beat 2 of the greatest.

Jones never really thought anyone at his peak though either.
