Doesn't matter what it's valued at, what someone pays is the price it's worth.

And there are people out there obviously paying those prices.

you dont have much option, if you want one you have to pay that price because they are all roughly around the same price. ive not seen one at a dealership since i was working for vauxhall but i wouldnt want to know how much they would be asking!

If they paid that 6 months ago that backs up even further that they're not worth it anymore.

There may still be some people, mainly those trying to sell them and not lose thousands, that still think their cars are worth more and advertise them at that but they won't sell.

As i've said, if you sell it at that you sell it and your right, I seriously doubt it though.

Johns right, the price of cars have tumbled in the last 3 months or so. If you dont agree with that then good luck selling your car!!

Complete buyers market on these now, the arse has dropped out the market on these big time. I paid £12800 for mine when I got it, which was the right price at the time, I dread to think what I could get for it now.

As many of you know I go offered swaps for an S3 last week.

It was a bottom end S3 (>miles <condition) but still I remember not so long ago when a similar car would have been 7-8k!

My cars worth 3.5 private aparently (I was offered 3 for a trade in) this deal would have made the S3 4k-ish.

Nightmare to sell cars just now. Anything other than rock bottom price you wont sell it!!

I can remember these being 12-14k & selling for that all day long not a kick in the arse of 12 months ago!!

It's unfortunate for people who have lost a lot but it's time to get realistic.

172's are another perfect example, i'm happy I got rid of mine for what I did when I did because they are worth nothing now.

wtf

your buying one? but they don't have any rust..

I'll sell mine for the price I want, if someone buys it they buy it, if they dont then they dont

I wouldnt entertain someone coming to my house quoting parkers price guides I'd ask them to leave
