The fact of this case is that it's going to serve an excellent purpose - your dad pays less tax, and it gets him from A to B no strings attached.

But the car itself is just a complete wank stain. Not only can you get better MPG in a number of small engine diesels and petrols, the lengths that are gone to to actually make the fuckers, far outweighs its running environmental impact.

Yeah the fact that it causes more environmental damage making one ore perish the thought of disposing of one

I had one as a hire car a month ago and it really did change my opinion on them all the same....drove it round London and was like hmmm not bad....

Dad doesn't give a shit about saving the planet or how many MPGs it does.

It has to be comfy, cruise with the cruise control set at 80 and cost diddly squat.

Kpow why does your old man feel the need to scrimp on a car if hes no mortgage to pay? Madness imo, you cant take it with you, might aswell enjoy it.

Anyone see that electric car on the telly the other night on some gadget show. Looks like an elise but is electric 220 miles per charge and with preformance too
