Same as Zavvi going into admin. My band has its album stocked in Zavvi, don;t know where we stand when the administrators actually come in. Guess we'll get our stock back, but who knows. Zavvi didnt 'buy' our cd's off, they host them and charge us a small shelving fee.

Another company has stepped in and bought most of the stores which will continue to trade under the usc name. was in yesterday with a credit note to get it used while they were open. Some stores will close but most are staying open. my local one is quite gd

got stiffed by USC - girl told me today the staff were told to push the gift cards rather than give refunds, thats what they gave me.
They no longer accept gift cards at the majority of stores, the nearest one to me is Nottingham or Leicester. Birmingham Bull ring and Solihull touch wood are closing down.

Was the original purchase made on a credit card? If it was, it might be worth calling your card provider and asking mate?
