I was severly tempted by an ek9 or a DC2 integra. But I was in the same boat as you. I wanted a newer car that was UK etc etc.

So I went for the EP3. I love mine to bits.

There are no mechanical differences between the pre and post face lifts other then a lighter fly wheel. Although you will never really notice the difference.

If you dont mind the look of the prefacelifts you can get some serious car per £££ at the moment

I went for the facelift as I liked the look of them so much better Mine is a 53 plate so first of the facelifts. Its milano red with 60,000 miles and I got it for aprox 5,000. Which imo I couldnt have got much more car for that money.

Main things to look out for when buying are the steering racks as if these go they are an expensive fix. Will notice the car pulling to the left or the right if there is a problem.

Also check for crunchy gears especially second. Other then that they are pritty much indestructable

Also try and get one with aircon as its a good thing to have when selling in the future. If not use it as a big haggeling point as it was an expensive extra

Other then topping up a bit of oil I havnt had to do anything to mine since getting it

Can you tell I am bored at work

In Cunningham's defense, there are a couple around here that ARE actually owned by Chavs And I think the idea that if you're not clued up on Civics, you'll just think that it's a normal EK with a bodykit will also add to the Stereotype. Don't need to panic folks, it's just a car. It's feelings won't be hurt.

Lol. My mum prefers the ek9, she says white looks more sporty. Love the fact 80% of women will choose a car because of colour

Which would be quicker ctr or ek9? im guessing ek9 due to less weight. Also fly do you have picks of the rear seats in yours? cheers

you want a eg civic with the b18 jdm teg engine! lol

tbh the only other civic id have is the jdm ep3 same shape what gavin has. it has abit more bhp, been in the land of the rising sun and has lsd! and lastly comes in the best colour..... champ white!

I'm sure the ek9 is a wonderful car and all but they look so old-fashioned, inside and out. tell people you bought one instead of a newer shape CTR and they will laugh at you I'm sorry to say. (non-petrolheads I mean)
Also the DC2 is a better car if you want to go down that road.
