i was waiting for this thread.
heres what happened.
sr91 ordered a courier service, iv booked it!! they have gone to collect three times, and 3 times the seller was not in, he fobbed sr91 with a excuse of leaving his mate in to wait for courier. he admitted to me himself the seller is a twat and he could hardley get any information out of him.
now the courier has charged me for turning up at the house three times, iv paid sr91's paid.
i do not have to give a reference but i normally do! ask everyone else who has ordered couriers, they have turned up and delivered. my service is fine if you can make sure there is someone in at the collecting address, which sr91 could not be sure of!
now sr91 thinks that he can get his money back, but that money has still been charged by the courier.

just to add that mobby had a courier collect 4 alloys from me he u2ued me the collection time and day and they collected promptly and delivered the next day so no problems here

I work for a courier company and it seem's fair what mobby has done as long as he's explained whats happened.
We do charge people for failed third party collections, so I can fully understand why SR91 has been charged.
I would advise to you Mobby, make sure you let people know before you booking about these charges to pre-empt any agro/hassle

I have no proof the couriers been, its easy for you to say yeah yeah, hes been and the guys not been in sorry pal I'm keeping your £20.
Either get it collected or give me a refund, under the trade law I've paid for a service, I never received the service therefore I'm fully entitled to a full refund.
