Neither did i.

Her heart rate shoots from 80ish to 100+ when i go and see her.

I make a point of putting on aftershave that i wore before the crash when i go see her. Anything to let her know that im there. Had to specially order it online

i thinkits sad though like shes alive and its her body that wont allow her to just wake up and be who she is if you know what i mean?
so when people go into comas, is it somthing thats wrong with the brain that has caused it?? right??

The way i see it (and my knowledge is still very limited) is that the brain has registered that there hes been a massive trauma, so shuts down anything thats not immediately necessary (most senses) to censerve energy and concentrates on healing itself.

I.E. It will only do this if it belives it can heal itself. Kind of like when your computer shits itself and go's into safe mode.

I'm sure when she wakes up she will appreciate what you've done loads and all of these visits and showing you care will be completely worth it. As said previous, I have much respect for you.

Yeah her Mum goes up every day pretty much. Yeah alot of her friends still go and see her too. Most are in Edinburgh at Uni though.

Keep in there mate, can't imagine what your actually going through and how you must feel but sounds like she is getting better slowly which is great!

I just hope when she does wake, you and her mam are both sitting there, so she knows you haven't given up on her!

I bet you come out of this a stronger person than ever before also

She was rock bottom at a 3. The lowest you can go. No response to anything at all. So there is a bit of progression at least..

I think Monster went down to 8 or 9 but 3

Keep us all update like you are doing. When Monster came up to mine at the start of Dec he told me about your GF's acident so after then i've been keeping an eye out for her progress.

Just be careful when she wakes up that she doesn't blurt things out like Monster did in front of his mum and step dad. You'll have to ask him about that one.

I'm glad she is getting better, it might be slow but it's an improvement at least. Good luck.

I'll give Monster the heads up about this one. He was speaking directly to Charly his GF at the time.... I'll let you work the rest out
