UGG boots are a type of boot, can be found on wikipedia etc.
UGG Austraila are a brand of UGG boots
All you have done is bought a different brand, so technically they haven't sold you fakes

why wouldi check faq to see if they where fake? That may seem like a stupid question. But the title says 100% australian made etc. I confused it (easily IMO) with Ugg Australia.
Its a con, wether they state in in their FAQs or not.

correct, but they are marketing them to look like the UGG australia brand, thus id imagine infringing on some sort of copyright etc. Its a con, they are cunts

Buy cheap, buy twice
Can understand why you are pissed off, I would be too, but as already stated they aint actually fake, so technically they havn't done anything wrong. They havn't misled you into anything, you've just got confused when making the order.

you say you were worried about fake ones so you researched a few web sites. then you ask why would you check the FAQ? you're right, that does seem like a daft question.

"Genuine" Uggs are made by deckers and are actually manufactured in China!!
Everyone is on the scam seeling these as ugg is a style of boot and tey deckers came along and copyrighted it etc
See this thread on moneysavingexpert, they will help:

Where?
All they mention is that they are made in Australia. It also says this at the bottom of every page:
Please don't confuse our products with the Deckers "UGG Australia" brand.

£90 for UGG boots! That should of been your first instinct to question them! They're £140 in most places! I've got UGGs, and i think for girls its so easy to see which are real and which are fake, but males dont seem to be able to tell the difference!

i bought my missus EMU (NZ sheepskin) boots for xmas last year and hunted for ages on the net for genuine ones
i know exactly why you are pissed off jambo but technically they havent ripped you off as danny p stated cos they are UGG boots as thats just a style
kind of like how we call a vacuum a "hover", and a PA a "tannoy"
i searched high and low for genuine ones when i was in perth last year and out of all the shops that sell them theres only one little shithole of a place that sells the real deal. and theyre £140 from them
send me some funds and i will get some and post them back for you when im out there in a few weeks time if you fancy....... if you fancy giving me your money that is

my sister, mum and friend have GENUINE ugg australia boots for the same price i paid, so why would i pay extra? Or think the pricing abnormal?
Its misleading much in the way people confuse 3 the network with 3rd gen mobiles aka 3g, understandable, but nonetheless confusing for those not in the know
Its funny how they dont state that they are called the urban ugg co anywhere on their website? All photos taken at an angle to semi conceal/not advertise the logo... Coincidence?! Ha!
They are deliberately trying to con the less clued up, and theyve done their homework. I have no leg to stand on cos it was technicaly all my fault.
That however doesnt make it right.

totally agree with you mate but like you say they are crafty fuckers and know exactly what they are doing
it might be worth getting in touch with their local trading standards equivalent and push a complaint even if they give them hassle but fuck all else comes of it, it will piss them off and probably shit them up a bit
like i say, my offer stands if you want me to source some when im out there in feb

The OFT points out that if you shop online you have a seven-day cooling-off period in which you can return and get a full refund (including the original cost of delivery to you) on any goods you decide you don’t want, regardless of the website’s own stated policy.
from:
http://www.timeout.com/london/shopping/features/5831.html
Like I said, I believe all things bought online are returnable.
