Dirty dirt as opposed to clean dirt?

Dirt as in summer dirt/dust. Or dirt as in shitty black stuff caused by salt and snow.

grey/silver. as you never really can tell how dirty it is. thus making it more dirty than other colours as you notice they needs a wash sooner.

I've had White, Blue and Black

IMO White was Easiest to keep Clean, Blue obviously was nicer just after it was cleaned however stayed nice for ages.

Black, is terrible to keep clean, after a day it is filthy, whatever the weather and shows up every mark

Yellow! silver just blends the dirt in! Ive taken to finding puddles, helps a little

And seat onvi yellow is the hardest colour to keep from fading, as the only thing to stop it is keep it out the sun!

Black is the best colour after a FULL ploish and detail.. its so rewarding seeing that mirror finish!!

Hope you dont mind me using one of your pics Icy

However!!! its the by far the worse colour for day-to-day use. You cant just wash a black car... you have to buff the goo damn thing before you even leave the drive. I used to own a silver car and it had a good couple of layers of wax so when you washed it, that was it! Look nice and shiney .... then owned a black car and fook me, it so hard to actually get the car clean nevermind keep it clean. You wash a black car and your left with watermarks which would have been masked by colour like silver or blue. Then when you polished it you'd see a shed load of issues with the paintwork... issues which you would struggle to see in anyother colour

I love black cars, but I doubt I will ever own another one as they are such a biatch to keep clean!

I said this, and I ended up with another black car. I resent actually spending (read wasting) time washing it, for it to get dirty when I drive anywhere

I agree with this. You would leave Silver for ages as it doesnt look all that dirty... then you would wash it one weekend and it would look like a totally different car as the colour and shine is revealed
