Well started the van as i want to get it finished asap so i can get on with other projects (before people say get on with the twin engine) as a garage without a working van is a pain.
So i removed the old Y17DT engine an took most of the front end off to make refitting the new engine alot easier.
Painted up the F23 box today and cleaned the engine bay, which i am going to repaint sections later next week once i have welded/sorted mounts aswell as painting the rocker cover white.
Autovaux took 250pounds off me for parts today which should be here monday, so fingers crossed engine will be mounted by monday.
Comments welcome.........

P.S What you think for stickering up the side

Is it true Deano is buying your old Y17DT engine to keep in his bedroom?

looks like a good project.
I'm not sure the wheels are as rare as you think though. Thet are just Autec Mistral's aren't they?

This could look pretty damn cool when it's finished! I may have missed it as I have skim read this, but what colour is the van going?

@ graphics - just make sure it doesn't take the interest away from your company details too much though!

I look forward to seeing this finished

Well I got cracking and the engine is sat in the bay.
Gearbox all bolted up. Need to sort out front engine mount off the gearbox which it easy to sort. Its just the drivers side mount so sort now, i have a few ideas as you can see looking at standard B conversion mount aswell as seeing where the standard corsa sits but she sat in the space meaning i can work on getting it all right. Nothing about of steel and a welder can not sort out
looks right at home there.

I worked in a bike shop for 2 years (different scale I know) and more often than not I was throwing tools across the workshop. I can't use a set of allen keys without rounding off bolts trust me, it won't happen.

Got some more done today.
Had a bit of luck, customer dropped off a damaged Corsa C. Looks like its been hand broken into a tree, aswell as bending the middle of the car he bent the rear axle. So customer said he would sorce one.
Nexy day one gets dropped off which turns out to be a Corsa C Combo rear Axle with Disc setup BUT lucky for me it would not fit his corsa so i sorced a replacment which fitted and kept his
All fitted up fine without any problems, just need to get new brakepipes and handbrake cable.
Also arriving today was my wheels so i have to try them out
Really like them, painted up anthercite will look ace.
I also removed the vynal from the side.

Did not get much time on the Van today as had some new 4 poster ramps to fit.
Well i got on with fitting the Nitrous kit which i have had sitting about for years and never used. Got tank, jet and solenoids all into place, rang and ordered a few bits for WON which was missing, lost over time etc. Made it so the tank is easy to get to and easy to remove as it will not be left in the van at all times.
Also got my intercooler threw the post so mounted it, modded the bumper reinforcer an got it all to fit. Think it fits really well.
Just waiting on parts now, all i have left to do with my stuff i have ordered is intercooler pipes.
Enjoy
