Just dug the log book out and looked

Last keeper was Andrew Reilly (aquired vehicle on 20/09/06

It was registered in June 06 so Im guessing the first owner was the dealer. best not have been an ex demo

so it seems I havent ever owned it

Number of former keepers 2

my insurance is only a grand now with no NCB and lowering declared,

I had a quote of £1900 on my corsa when I was 17 which when your on £40 a week as an apprentice is a bit steep. paid £600 on my mums, got the saxo and paid £600 again on that and paid £598 on this last year. Pretty consistent prices

I dont get how you couldnt get insured on a group 7 car. Im 18 and drive around in a group 13 and i dont live in a posh area in my own name aswell.

But anyways besides the point! Just do it

Because groups and what you think your area is don't necessarily agree with what the insurance think.

I was insured under my dad until I crashed, I was better off, so this it's better to be on your own from the start doesn't always hold true.

Corsa Nut,

And John, I will be the 4th owner

When I bought it I couldnt insure it so the log book order goes

First Owner
M. Kelly
J. Kelly
And then it will be back to M. Kelly again

cant see the number of owners being a problem though cause Il only ever part ex it anyway

MattK, its worth sending a letter to DVLA requesting a name change on the docs as the address is the same one. They do this sometimes and dont add an owner..
