0ver 150mph it all feels pretty much the same. was surprised when the sat nav read 209mph - supercars at speed are so stable amd smooth you wouldnt think they are doing the speed they are!

Are we talking as in you driving or just being in the car or does it even matter?
In which case 95mph in my 12v Corsa and 130mph in my uncles TVR Chimera.
Also done 110mph in my sisters Clio Cup with me driving.

I've done 128 GPS verified in my Corsa, on a private road. That was on the limiter in 5th.
I was a passenger in a Fiesta ST on the way to Trax last year, convoying up the M40 at 140 mph on the TomTom with a Lotus Exige, Renault Megane R26 Astra VXR and E46 M3.

Think Ive been passenger in an MR2 doing abit more than that.

not really - especially the bike figures - it doesnt take very long at all to reach 160+ on a bike. Indicated figures are inaccurate though especially at max.
personally I've had 198 indicated on a K6 'busa racing a mate on his Holeshot Turbo's busa who hit and GPS verified 200odd mph (summit like 220mph)

Most SS1000cc bikes can't do over 184mph all tested and prooven.
Only the MV Augusta has a higher top end at 187mph. The fastest production 1000cc sports bike available.
Even the World Superbikes with £50+k engines are only doing 210mph
It can be done, but it'll take more than exhaust, filter, and engine remap to do it.
Early Hyabusas made 202mph, but Japan made a "Gentlemans agreement" limiting all Japanese Superbikes to 184mph. ( At those speeds, really, whats 184mph gonna do )
SS600cc sports bikes do between 155-175mph tops (R6 being 172-5mph, GSXR 165, CBR 164 on average over various bike mag tests).
Kano - Indeed, I saw 130 last night and was ony on the motorway for about 2 miles. Its so effortless on a bike.
Also, the current CBR1000 range does jsut over 100mph in FIRST GEAR!!!!!! Dads old TL1000 saw 95 in 1st
Adios pretty much EVERY car on the road up to 100mph Sub 9 second 0-100mph dash anyone.
And people wonder why i've moved to bikes for 1/10th the cost

Indeed. Although the astras certainly no supercar At 150+ it feels smooth, refined, relaxed and easy.
130+ in the corsa, stearing wheels rattling a bit, engines screeming, feel evern un-dullation (?sp), every bump, its excitingly scarey
