Where abouts in Scotland are you DannyB? Looks like Lochernhead or something

Its ok to think the grass will be greener moving abroad but infact in many cases its not. I could produce a list as long as my arm of people I know that have tried living in another country, all of them have returned. I fully understand though that you need to give it a go to satisfy your curiosity. Try it see how you get on, if it goes tits over heel its only a few hundred quid to fly home!!

I won't be moving from Scotland unless I become a multi-millionaire, I'm too used to the in your face manner we have here.

Australia is supposedly a modern day utopia to people, it has shit places and shit people as well.

Fantastic roads up that way aswell, just got to watch for the police as they like to use their speed guns to catch the folk out testing their machines

Up this way is alright also

Very quiet, The actual town Dingwall has some little scrotum's in it, but plenty of decent roads outwards to go for a run

True, my current place of residence is in a really nice area outside the scumhole that is Rotherham, I dislike England at the moment but my problem is that I've got a lot of ties with the place at the moment, I've bought my house there and I own some property in the same village also, I run my business from there and siblings have stopped there too so although England is probably a bad place to be right not, I'd need to sort alot out to move away.

I've recently moved to scotland too, nowhere quite as picturesque as where you live danny but it is alot more relaxed and pleasant up here than manchester, Such a nicer place to live only bad points is missing my friends and not knowing anybody :-/ but manc#s only 3.5 hours down the road i spose Glad i moved though

I moved here to get away from people true though, if I ever need to see people they're only a few hours down the motorway.

Well, I was offered a job in Torremolinos, going back there in April. Will see how that goes and go from there.

For the sake of some skirt, or because you actually like the place?
They're called "kilts", not skirts. Aj. would have known that.
