and when it fired up it idled fine until like i said in my 1st post it started hunting and the revs dropped so low it cut out and wont start again

Go back to where you were; check the king lead again to make sure you're getting a spark TO the dizzy.
if thats good (which it now should be as presumably your old coil was broken) remove a plug and check to make sure you're getting a spark from the plugs.
If thats OK, make sure you're getting fuel by pressing in the valve (gently) on the fuel rail.

getting spark at king lead not blue tho jus an orangey little one fuel rail has fuel as it came out of the valve ill just whizz out now and check spark from dizzy to a plug

now its not sparking at king lead so the coils playing up again or the power to the coil is playing up i have no idea im gettin really pissed off now. it did have a spark from the king lead and it fired up but now it has no spark from king lead what could cause the coil not to be sparking?

Crank sensor or Fuel Pump Relay are first options.
I'd replace these.

sounds like a weak earth point to me or wat dave said

i suppose it could yeah, there should be 3 earths on the fuel rail, one earth thats body to gear box, make sure the coil is earthed well and one earth on the gearbox near thestarter motor but thats not needed,

i only have 2 earths on my fuel rail that i can see but thats how it came and it ran ok before ...
