Fucking hell, I've been listening to DnB since 1992, I've seen it progress through lots of different sub types of DnB, when I first started listening to it in 1992 when my sister used to come home with the tape packs from Amnesia House, Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, World Dance.

I liked it back then but I REALLY liked it once the MC's got involved, the early MC's like Moose, 5ive-O were good, but they gradually progressed to MC's like Flux, Fearless, Stevie Hyper D who's job it is to brighten up the dance.

Then came along the new breed in late 96, Skibadee/Shabba D, Foxy, Det, Fatman D all these had been MC'ing on Kool FM for years but the music progressed and people wanted more and more of the MC's

My favourite era of DnB was 95-99, now the DJ's are just lazy and have run out of ideas, then you get shit like Pendulam creating bullshit DnB for Indie listeners who want watered down crap.

I don't even like DnB of the current era, I put on the pirate radio stations have to turn it off, it's awful, it's gone very Techno-ish with no deep basslines just bullshit beats that don't flow.

And it's not senseless shit, listen to what they are saying. They are hyping up the dance.
